Welcome back to School (Academic year 2023-24)

The return to school after a hiatus brought with it a sense or renewal camaraderie and excitement. It symbolized not only a reconnection with textbooks and classrooms but also a rekindling of friendships, the joy of learning and the promise of a future filled with possibilities. KVM Public School and First Friends (Play House, Nursery, LKG, UKG- The last word in Excellence) enjoyed its opening day with great enthusiasm. Management, Principal, Teachers and Non-teaching members had welcomed the tiny tots on 1st June 2023 for the Academic journey of 2023-2024.

World Environment Day

World Environment Day celebration at KVM Public School was a resounding success, reinforcing the school’s dedication to Environmental conservation. “The tree plantation” ceremony followed by Principal’s message on preservation of Mother Earth has instilled environmental values among children and they left the campus with a renewed sense of responsibility, empowered to be stewards of a greener and healthier planet. 

Onam Celebrations

KVM Public School embraced the spirit of unity in diversity as it joyously celebrated the festival of Onam, bringing together students, teachers and staff in a vibrant tapestry of cultural richness. The student teachers and staff were donned traditional Kerala attire transforming the campus in to a visual spectacle. The classrooms and corridors were adorned with floral carpet-pookkalam’. The highlight of the celebration was grand Onamsadya. Everyone enjoyed the programme to their hearts. Students participated in different colourful programs like Thiruvathira and one-minute show. The Maveli procession through the school corridor was the highlight of the program. Celebration ended up with the Principals message which reinforcing the importance of celebrating and embracing cultural traditions within the school community. 

Vijayadasami Day

The schools Vijayadasami festivities were a blend of traditional rituals and a collective spirit of learning symbolizing the victory of good over the evil and the pursuit of knowledge. Teachers and staff took the opportunity to bless the students during the Vijayadasami celebration.

National Constitution Day Celebration

The Constitution Day was celebrated on 27th November 2023 at KVM Public School, to create awareness about the Indian Constitution and Articles. A special assembly was conducted, in which the Principal Dr. Manjula Nair in her address highlighted the significance of the Constitution Day and commemorated the people who sacrificed their lives to safeguard the value of democracy and their contribution in drafting of Indian Constitution. Various performances were conducted by the students that gave more information about the Constitution of India. 

Children’s Day Celebration

KVM Public School, celebrated Children’s’ Day on 14th November 2023 to remember 130th birth anniversary of Pandit. Jawaharlal Nehru. The programme began with a special assembly followed by mesmerizing cultural programs of children. The Principal Dr.Manjula Nair greeted the children warmly on the day. Our chief guest of the day Reshmi Devan, Consultant Tata Consultancy Services Pvt.Ltd, in her address encouraged students to dream big and work hard. The guest of honour, Ms Ranju P Nair, HR Manager, Travancore Cocotuft Pvt.Ltd, in her speech paid tribute to Pandit. Jawaharlal Nehru. The teachers enthralled the audience with their energetic and graceful dance performance. The contribution of students and teachers along with the presence of guests elevated the event more vibrant and memorable.

Kerala Piravi

KVM Public School celebrated ‘Kerala Piravi’ with great grandeur. Principal Dr.Manjula Nair in her address note quoted the art, cultural heritage, legacy and traditional values of Kerala in which we should be proud of. The occasion was embellished with the presence of Dr.Krishnan Namboothiri, Principal of KVM Arts and Science College as our Chief guest and Mrs. Darshana Ramachandran, HOD, Department of Computer Applications as guest of Honour. The event was enriched with “Malayalimanga” and “Purushakesari” competitions, the students from KG to 7th Grade participated and enthralled the spectators in their traditional attire. The celebration was a remarkable one in the history of KVM Public School.

KVMPS has implemented a comprehensive program offering extra coaching in diverse disciplines such as Karate, Badminton, Chess, Caroms, Basketball and Skating. This initiative aims not only to foster athletic excellence but also to enhance students’ overall wellbeing. 

Band Troupe

The launch of the KVMPS Band Troupe represents a harmonious journey into the world of music promising not only delightful performances but also an avenue for students to explore and express their musical passion. As the band takes its first step towards creating beautiful melodies. We look forward to a future filled with musical excellence camaraderie and a shared love for the art of sound.Minnaminnikoottam- An Art Fest KVM Public school in collaboration with Mathrubhoomi conducted an Art Fest- Minnaminnikoottam’’ on 4th March 2023 at KVM Public School. Students from various schools of cherthala taluk participated and they excelled their talents. Kumari.Shenia Manoj of KVM Public School secured First runner up in spot choreography. The day bloomed with joy and colours.
